Rolf von Reinbek is a beautiful 9 month old long haired German Shepherd. Rolf arrived at Westside with his look-alike brother Otto, and we are so happy to have them! Both are wonderful young boys who are available as a pair or separately. Rolf's gorgeous looks will never go to his head: this lad has a gentle soul with an easygoing personality that inclines him to befriend all people and dogs he meets (he walks nicely next to 6 other dogs!). Fluffy Rolf will become playful once comfortable and is overall pretty laid-back - when he isn't bouncing around with his brother, Otto, with whom he much enjoys walking and playing.  He comes out of his kennel calmly and happy to start his outing. He walks well on leash, with a medium energy level, in a mannerly “Heel” position. Our gorgeous boy knows the “Sit” command and did great in his first playgroup. Although he went in a bit unsure at first, he soon began exploring the yard and in no time was wagging his tail like a consummate greeter! Once done with “self-introductions," he just lay down and watched what everybody was doing - just the perfect “good boy."  Both Rolf and Otto even did well visiting cats.  We can’t wait to see who the fortunate family is that Rolf (plus maybe Otto) will pick!
